I Description:

Update period: 1 time in 60 seconds.

Last price - the price of the last order on the exchange, at the time of the last update.

Speed โ€‹โ€‹of the price, tick - speed or price change for the specified period (time frame), at the time of the last update.

Signal-impulse - signals based on changes in the price rate, at the time of the last update. Comparing the speed of the price for a smaller time frame with the rate of the price for a larger time frame. If there is a relatively sharp change in the rate of price (increase/decrease) - an impulse, then oftenly this leads to a further price movement in the direction of a sharp increase/decrease, and less often to a change in the price movement to the opposite. Suitable for catching PUMPS.

BUY - a trading signal to buy, in the direction of a sharp increase.
SELL - a trading signal for sale, in the direction of a sharp decline.

Change % - price change in percent, between the last current order and the closing price of yesterday, at the time of the last update.

Volatility % - a measure of price volatility relative to its minimum value for the specified period (time frame), at the time of the last update. By default is calculated based on the price data for the last 24 hours.

If volatility today > volatility yesterday, then the numbers are highlighted with red.
If volatility today < volatility yesterday, then the numbers are highlighted with green.

Adequate stop-loss, price - an adequate stop loss calculated on the base of Volatility% for the specified period (time frame - 2 days), at the time of the last update.

Adequate take-profit, price - adequate take-profit calculated on the base of Volatility% for the specified period (chosen time frame), at the time of the last update.

Signals top/bottom (TB).

Signals TB single - trading signals after the formation of the bottom (B) and the top (T), for the specified period (time frame), at the time of the last update.

Signals DTDB double are trading signals generated after the double bottom (DB) and double top (DT), for the specified period (time frame), at the time of the last update.

BUY - a trading signal to buy.
SELL - a trading signal to sell.

Current trend type - the direction of the current or short-term price trend for the specified period (time frame), at the time of the last update.
Long – short-term “long”.
Short – short-term “short”
Consolidation – flat (sidewalks market)

Prevalent Trend type - the direction of the prevailing or medium-term price trend for the specified period (time frame), at the time of the last update.
Long - medium-term uptrend.
Short - medium-term downtrend.
Consolidation - medium-term price trend is uncertain.

Spread % - the difference between the best buy price and the best sell price in percent, at the time of the last update. The higher the indicator, the worse the liquidity of the paper. Low spread informs on high liquidity of the instrument.

Level - asset rating is determined on the basis of: profitability, volatility, liquidity, at the time of the last update.
1 - the highest rating of attractiveness among investors.
4 - the lowest rating of attractiveness among investors.

Trend barometer - graphic icons reflecting the mood of the market - the direction of the current and prevailing price movement on exchange. Three bars of the histogram: Long, Short, Consolidation for the column Current trend type and Long_p, Short_p, Undefined_p for the column type of prevailing trend , these help to reflect the total data for all instruments.

14) Statistical barometers are graphical icons showing where the current value of the statistical indicator is in relation to its historical minimum and maximum values for N-days, by default N = 5 days. They can be found on some columns of the table by hovering mouse with a delay on the cell of table.

cs-stat-bar-1.png

Maximum - the maximum calculated value of the indicator for N-days.
Current - the current calculated value.
Minimum - the minimum estimated value of the indicator for N-days.

The change of any analytical indicator in table (a cell) is highlighted in color. Positive change a table cell is highlited with green , negative - with red.

III How to use

1 - All indicators in table are IMPORTANT ! They describe market from different points of view.

2 - There is no magic bullet or special recipe on how to combine and use indicators as a system. But you are lucky! We will share here some hints on how to use crypto-spy.

Let's take into consideration some definitions that we will use in this guide.

Short-term trades – this is a speculative trade lasting from 10 minutes to 100 minutes, usually the size of the stop-loss is 0.1-0.3 of the volatility, a profit target of 0.3-0.9 of the volatility.

Mid-term trades –this is a speculative trade lasting from 100 minutes to 1000 minutes (16 hours), usually the size of the stop-loss is 0.3-0.6 of the volatility, a profit target 0.9-2 of the volatility.

Long-term trades – this is a speculative transaction lasting from 1000 minutes (16 hours) to 3 or even 5 days, usually the size of the stop-loss is 0.6-1.2 of the volatility, the target for profit is 2-5 of the volatility.

1) Impulse signal – trading signals calculated on the basis of price change speed, the estimated range is from 1 minute to 300 minutes. The signal will appear as soon as the speed of the price change starts to rise or fall sharply. Especially, it can be useful to detect an exit of the price from a long slow flat. As a rule (but not always), after an impulse, the price continues move towards a strong impulse and you can earn money on it.

IMPORTANT! Use impulse signals ONLY for short-term trades, sometimes for mid-term trades. Fix your profits in time!

You can change Impulse signal calculation in: Impulse signal timeframe settings

2) Volatility, % - adequate stop-loss and take profit are calculated on the basis of volatility. It is important to understand if, on the one hand, high volatility is a high risk, then the other side high volatility is high income. The more volatility, the more you need to put a stop and profit.

For mid-term and long-term trades it is safer to open positions in a period of low volatility, when the current volatility is near its minimum value for 3-5 days. You can monitor the level of volatility on a statistical barometer by hovering mouse on a volatility tablecell of a coin.

cs-volat-2.png
For mid-term and long-term trades it is more profitable to close positions in a period of high volatility, when the current volatility is near its maximum value for 5 days. Monitor volatility through a statistical barometer, news in the online analytics and especially by setting email alerts.

To change volatility timeframe use: Volatility timeframe settings

cs-volat-1.png

3) Adequate stop-loss and adequate take-profit – the derivatives from volatility %, but unlike it they are calculated in the currency of the asset. They can be used - simply by taking from the site. For example, at the current price of Dash 328.5, an adequate stop is 325.75, and an adequate profit of 334.93.

cs-stop-profit-1.png
WARNING! Adequate stop-loss and adequate take-profit must be used only for LONG trades.

IMPORTANT! Adequate stop-loss and adequate take-profit are not universal, they are more suitable for short- and mid-term operations.

Since adequate stop-loss and adequate take-profit depend on volatility, then changing the timeframe for volatility using the option: Volatility timeframe settings -will change the stop and profit values.

4) Signals TOP/BOTTOM – trading signals based on graphical analysis: bottom and top, double bottom and double top. After bottom and double bottom comes a buy signal, and after the top and double top signal for sale.

WARNING! 2 signals top+double top or bottom+double bottom are more strong than single signal

IMPORTANT!!! If you trade by Prevailing trend-LONG, then use opposite or countertrend signals - Sell and Current trend - Short - to open\add long positions. If you trade Prevailing trend - SHORT, then use opposite or countertrend signals to open\add short positions - Buy and Current trend - Long.

Timeframe for TA signals can be changed in: Signals timeframe settings

5) Current trend (24H). This trend type is helpful for short-term, less often for mid-term trades

If type is Long — Long positions are preferable
If type is Short — Short positions are preferable

IMPORTANT! The more coins have the same trend, the more stable this trend can be, and vice versa, the fewer coins have an equal trend, the less stable is the current trend.

If mostly Consolidation, then it is flat market (sidewalk) - uncertain trend, the probability of earning lower than average possibility.

Use the trend barometer, which contains more summary and more specific data for all coins. It is recommended to plan trading to the direction of the highest bar on the histogram (Long, Short).

On a flat market when the highest bar Consolidation, it would be wise to pause trading.

6) Prevailing trend - This type of trend is better suited for mid-term and long-term trades . It is more important than "Current trend".

If type is Long — Long positions are preferable
If type is Short — Short positions are preferable

The more coins have the same trend, the more stable the current trend can be, and vice versa, the fewer coins have same trend, the more unreliable the current trend is.

Using a trend barometer increases the accuracy of determining the main trend in the market. It is recommended to choose the direction of trade in the direction of the highest bar on the histogram Prevailing trend: (Long, Short).

cs-trand-bar-1.png
If many coins have Undefined trend type, it means market is flat, uncertain. If the histogram bar Undefined is the highest, better to stop trading and wait for trend change.

8) Spread % - the lower this indicator, the higher the liquidity of the coin and vice versa.

9) Level - based on indicators: 24H marketcap and trading volume helps to determine the reliability and attractiveness of the crypto-currency for investment. Level-1 - the most reliable, and Level-4 and below - less.

1) Level_1: the maximum share of one coin 20%, and the minimum share - 5%, the recommended total maximum of shares of Level_1 is not more than 100%.

2) Level_2: the maximum share of one coin 10%, and the minimum share 2%, the recommended total maximum of shares of Level_2 is not more than 100%..

3) Level_3: the maximum share of one coin 5%, and the minimum share 1%”, the recommended total maximum of shares of Level_3 is not more than 50%.

4) Level_4: the maximum share of one coin 2%, and the minimum share 0,5%”, the recommended total maximum of shares of Level_4 is not more than 25%.

Rebalancing The level of coins may change with time: rise and fall. For example, Level2 became Level-1, then the share of this coin can be increased. If Level2 became Level-3, then the share of the coin should be reduced. We recommend selling coins from portfolio that have become less popular (Level decreased), and buy new more promising coins (Level up).

For clarity, the increase in the coin's level will be highlighted with green - Level-2, and the rating decrease will be highlighted with red : Level-3.

cs-rating-level-1.png

Rating - a fundamental assessment of the crypto currency from the site: coingecko.com. The higher the rating, the higher the coin values: Development (developer), Community (community), Public interest (public interest). The higher the rating, the higher the attractiveness of the crypto currency for investment.

cs-rating-level-1.png
The rating should be evaluated not only in numbers, but in its dynamics. For clarity, the rating upgrade is highlighted with green, rating decreasewith red colors, you can also evaluate the dynamics of the rating with the help of a statistical barometer.

Rebalancing We recommend selling coins that have become less popular (rating declines), and buy new more promising coins (rating increases).

11) Alerts

You can set up different alert types.

cs-alerts-1.png

14) Basic recommendations

Compose your portfolio of crypto currencies at least 3, and preferably 10 or more coins. Choose a coin from the category Level-1, Level-2, Level-3, in accordance with the recommended shares.

Often the direction of the trend and the signals contradict each other, and this is not irregular. Trend direction is more important rathrer than to signal. In this case, often the most profitable trades can be made due to existing contradiction between the trend and the signal. For example, if you are targeting on the Prevailing trend - LONG , then use opposite or countertrend signals to open\add long positions (Impulse signal, Signals top/bottom) - Sell and 24H trend - Short. If you trade Prevailing trend- SHORT, then use opposite or countertrend signals (Impulse signal, Signals top/bottom) - Buy and 24H trend-Long to open short positions.
